Lajoie arguably first became popular through the video Everyday Normal Guy, in which he, in great ironic contrast to typical rap songs, sings about his bland, run-of-the-mill daily activities. Lajoie's other videos soon became a hit, such as 2 Girls One Cup song, Show Me Your Genitals, Sunday Afternoon, and High as Fuck. On two occasions, Lajoie responded to the popularity of his videos by making sequels. He followed up Everday Normal Guy with Everday Normal Guy 2 and Everday Normal Crew
